In 2020, Crystal Cruises will cause an enormous splash with the launch of its first luxury expedition yacht, Crystal Endeavor.

Crystal’s Senior Vice President of marketing and sales said, ‘The experiences that await travellers aboard Crystal Endeavor are simply spectacular. We are seeing such tremendous anticipation and enthusiasm surrounding her first season of voyages and are thrilled to present the next step for our guests to plan their adventures.’
Onboard, the latest technology will see guests discover unexplored places of a destination combined with lavish elegance in accommodation, dining, and relaxation. Guests can look forward to surprise comforts and, most importantly for travellers from Oceania, departures from Australia and New Zealand.
Crystal Endeavor will be the largest and most spacious purpose-built polar class expedition yacht in the world, standing at 20,000 tonnes to accommodate just 200 guests in 100 suites. The interior will boast spacious public areas, spa and salon that will be bigger than on other vessels, as well as expedition rooms, and six restaurants including Umi Uma by Nobu Matsuhisa.

In addition, Crystal Endeavor will have a submersible that can accommodate more than two guests, two helicopters, and 18 zodiacs that will allow the cruise line to carry all passengers off the vessel at the same time if need be.
Crystal Endeavor will come to Australia in 2021 where you can spend a memorable New Year’s Eve as it departs from Sydney and then move on to Hobart for its Antarctica voyage via the Ross Sea. The ship’s inaugural season start from August 2020 to January 2021 with voyages of 12 to 22 days.
The inaugural voyages include Japan and the Russian Far East; Indonesia, Borneo, and the Philippines; New Zealand and Tasmania; Australia and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as Antarctica.
Last week Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises released the Crystal Endeavor Voyage Planner, a 38-page brochure showcasing the highlights of the yacht’s inaugural season, to help travellers and travel advisors plan journeys.
